The Summit War Saga is the last saga of the half of One Piece Manga. This Saga is very difficult for Luffy and his crews, because there are many strong characters who are the enemies of Straw Hats such as Kizaru (a Admiral), Pacifista (a robot of Vegapunk), Bartholomew Kuma (a Shichibukai), Sentomaru (a bodyguard of Vegapunk), Magellan (a warden of Impel Down), ... All they are stronger than Luffy. Straw Hats failed consecutively. Especially, Luffy can't save my brother, Ace. He was very desperate and wanted to die.


Finally, Luffy and crews decided to practice in 2 years to enhance their power. The place they trained is reveal in a mini-series: Straw Hat's Separation Serial. Now, Let's start the main thing. We will enjoy some fights of Luffy as follows:

• Luffy vs Pacifista.
• Luffy vs Bartholomew Kuma.
• Luffy vs Marigold & Sandersonia.
• Luffy vs Magellan.

Luffy vs Pacifista

Pacifista is a cyborg which is invented by a great scientist, Vegapunk. And it is based on Bartholomew Kuma, a Shichibukai. It can shoot a laser beam from his mouth and hand. Moreover, It is made up of a metal. So it is very strong. Luffy, Zoro and Sanji were very hard to defeat one Pacifista.

However, after timeskip, Luffy was stronger and he can defeat Pacifista with only one punch.

Luffy vs Bartholomew Kuma

Bartholomew Kuma, a Shichibukai, is very strong. Additional, he ate Nikyu Nikyu no Mi which make his palm look like a cat’s paw. The first function of this fruit is he can repel any attack by this hand. Especially, He can pull the fatigue or hurt from someone, then he pushes it into another one he wants. The second, he can transfer anything by touching it. Although the one who is touched will fly at high speed, they don’t have any pain because they are protected by a paw shaped bubble. 

Luckily, He is a member of Revolution which is found by Luffy's father, Monkey D. Dragon. So he helped Straw Hats by sending Luffy and his crews to a safe place. Then he also had protected Thousand Sunny until Luffy returned.

Luffy vs Marigold & Sandersonia

Marigold & Sandersonia are the sisters of Boa Hancock, a Shichibukai. All they have devil fruits, Zoan-classed fruit. The name of their fruit is Hebi Hebi no Mi. So they can transform into a King Cobra (Marigold) and a Anaconda (Sandersonia).

At first, they used Busoshoku Haki and  Busoshoku Haki to attack Luffy. And Luffy fell very hard to fight. Finally, Luffy used Gear Second and defeated them easily. After war, Boa Hancock and her sisters were very interested in him. Especially, Hancock fell in love Luffy and helped him very much.

Luffy vs Magellan

Magellan is a warden of Impel Down. Government is very trustful to him. He ate a devil fruit, Doku Doku no Mi, which allows him emit poison. So Luffy can't contact or touch him. And finally, Luffy was defeated by Magellan. Magellan made sure that there was no way to neutralize the amount of poison and Luffy would die in 24 hours. 

But with Mr. 3's trying, he got Luffy to Ivan, a member of Luffy's father. Ivan used his ability to save Luffy, but Luffy must use 10 years of his life to treatment. However, then Luffy can immune from any toxic and Magellan was demoted to vice warden of Impel Down.
