East Blue Saga is the starting of Luffy's adventure saga. It introduces how Shanks can inspire Luffy to become a King Pirate. Moreover, It also focus on gaining new crews of Luffy. This is Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Sanji.

Luffy vs Avida

When Luffy went to Romance Dawn Arc, Luffy met Coby and decided to help him to escape frome Avida. Because She force Coby to work very hard.
Avida is also a devil fruit user, Sube Sube no Mi. Function of this fruit is helping Aveda’s skin become very slippery. Additional, it also allows her to lose her weight. But she is defeated very easilly by Luffy.

 After meeting Luffy, Coby took part in Marine and was introduce by Monkey D. Garp, grandfather of Luffy. You see in this mini-series: Diary of Coby-Meppo.

Luffy vs Buggy

Buggy used to have friendship with Shanks (a yonko) when he was a child. He loves treasures very much and swimming very well. However, he accidentally ate devil fruit hidden in his mouth because of the sudden appearance of Shanks. So Buggy was very angry with Shanks. His fruit is Bara Bara no Mi. This fruit helps Buggy split his body into separate parts. Moreover, He can fly but his legs (:-D).

Buggy met Luffy at Orange Town in East Blue. Luffy see that he was terrorizing the villagers. Therefore, Luffy and Zoro had a battle with Buggy.

After war, Buggy had a adventure to come back his Pirate. We can see that in this mini-series: Buggy's Crew: After the Battle!. Then he was arrested by Marine. But he escaped thanks to Luffy. Now, he is one of the Shichibukai.

Luffy vs Morgan

Morgan is also call Axe hand Morgan because his right hand is a axe. He is a marine but he is very evil. He had a bad habit of punishing those who disobeyed him. Luffy want to help Zoro to escape from Morgan. Moreover, Luffy broke his status. So Luffy must fight him.

Luffy vs Kuro

Kuro is a pirate and the captain of Cat Claws but he didn't want to be a pirate anymore. He is very smart so he made a plan is steal asset of the rich and has a rich life. However, Luffy knew this and prevented him.

Luffy vs Krieg

Don Krieg is a infamous pirate in East Blue. He also is a captain of Krieg Pirates. Luffy met him in  Baratie Arc. He is very cruel and evil. After Sanji helped him and his crew, he immediately attacked Sanji and want to kill Sanji.

Luffy vs Arlong

Arlong is the captain of Arlong Pirates. He is a fishman. He is very hateful against human. He forced Nami to work for him in 8 years. He promised that if Nami brings 100,000,000 bounty, he will free her villagers. But he is a liar. Therefore, Luffy must fight against him to save Nami and her villagers.
